What types of taxes can be paid through EFTPS and are there any fees?

You can pay almost all federal taxes through EFTPS, including:

• Individual income taxes (Form 1040 series)

• Estimated taxes

• Employment taxes (Forms 941, 943, 944, 945)

• Corporate income taxes (Form 1120)

• Excise taxes

• Estate and gift taxes

EFTPS is completely free to use - there are no service charges.
However, EFTPS is only for federal tax payments; state and local taxes must be paid through your state’s own system.
