What happens if my Slash application is rejected?
If your application is not approved, here's what you need to know.
What you'll receive
Slash sends a generic denial notification. Due to compliance requirements, they're not able to share specific reasons for a rejection — even if you contact them directly.
Important: doola is also not able to access the reason for a rejection on your behalf. This is a Slash compliance policy.
Can I reapply?
Yes. There is no waiting period. You can reapply right away.
How to reapply
Reapplications require a new account — you cannot add documents to or continue from a previous application.
To give your reapplication the best chance:
- Submit as much documentation as possible.
- Make sure your business address, personal address, and identity documents are complete and accurate.
- If you have any proof of business activity — even a business plan — include it.
- If you previously had no bank statements, consider attaching personal statements this time.
When rejection is a hard block vs. fixable
Some rejections are due to a hard eligibility block (for example, a non-US entity). Others may simply be due to missing or insufficient documentation. Since Slash doesn't share the reason, the safest approach is always to reapply with a more complete submission.
