What documents do I need to apply for a Slash account?

Slash will ask you to submit supporting documents as part of their verification process. Here's what to expect and what to prepare.

This shows that your business is active or has a clear plan to operate.

• If your company is brand new with no revenue or contracts yet, that's okay — Slash still accepts applications from businesses with limited or no operating history.
• Provide whatever you have. Even early-stage materials help.

Examples of accepted documents:

• Business plan or pitch deck
• Marketing materials
• Any receipts or records of business activity
• Contracts, invoices, or proposals (even if unsigned)

If your business has never had a bank account before, you have two options:

• Check the option that says "No previous bank or credit card account for this business" during the application — no statements required.
• Alternatively, you can submit personal bank statements in your name. This is sometimes preferred or requested by the review team.

Note: You don't need to have an existing business bank account to apply. Slash understands that many applicants are opening their first one.

You'll be asked to verify the identity of each beneficial owner. Have a valid government-issued ID ready, such as a passport or national ID card.
