What addresses do I need to apply for a Slash account?
When you apply for a Slash business bank account through doola, you'll be asked for three types of addresses. Each one has different requirements.
1. Legal address (Registered Agent address)
This is the official address on file for your LLC — typically your Registered Agent (RA) address.
- A Registered Agent address is accepted for the legal address field.
- No proof of address is required for this field.
2. Physical business address
This is the address where your business actually operates. It can be your office or your home address if you run your business from home.
- This does not have to be in the United States.
- You will need to submit proof of address for this field.
- A Registered Agent address is not accepted here — it must be a real operating or residential address.
Accepted proof of address documents: utility bills, bank statements, government-issued ID with address, or a lease agreement.
3. Personal address
This is the residential address of the beneficial owner(s) of the company.
- This can be the same address as the physical business address if you work from home.
- You will need to submit proof of address for this field.
- This address does not have to be in the United States.
Quick summary: RA address = legal address only. Your real home or office address is needed for the business and personal address fields.
