Why does the IRS experience delays at the end of the year, and how does it affect my filings with doola?
Updated over a week ago

Every year, from late December through early January, the IRS temporarily slows down operations to audit their records and improve internal processes. During this period, they also update their systems to prepare for the upcoming tax season. This annual maintenance affects nearly all services, including EINs, ITINs, and other filings.

As a result, delays are common across the board during this time. At doola, we are actively following up with the IRS on your behalf to ensure your case is handled as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this period and work to keep you updated on your filing status.
