What is Doola's policy on packages?

1.Can I have packages shipped to my registered agent address?

No. Our registered agent service only covers regular mail. We don't accept, scan, forward, or store packages, parcels, boxes, or anything requiring a signature or special handling, no matter which carrier is used.

2.Why doesn't Doola accept packages?

Registered agent addresses are set up to receive official mail, not to function as a shipping or receiving address. Handling packages requires different space, staffing, and liability coverage than mail processing, so we keep the service focused on what it's built for: making sure your important business mail reaches you.

3.What happens if a package is sent to my registered agent address anyway?

It falls outside our mail service. If it can't be refused or returned to the carrier right away, we'll hold it for up to 14 days. If we don't hear from you or receive instructions in that window, the package will be discarded. We recommend using a separate shipping address, like a virtual mailbox or your own business address, for anything you expect to receive as a package.

4.Where should I have packages sent instead?
Use a separate shipping address, such as a virtual mailbox provider, a P.O. box, or another business address you control. Keep your registered agent address reserved for official mail only.
